² I will praise Yahweh ^(A)throughout my life;
I will ^(B)sing praises to my God while I have my being.
^3 (C)Do not trust in nobles,
In merely a son of ^(D)man, in whom there is ^(E)no salvation.
⁴ His ^(F)spirit departs, he ^(G)returns to ^[a]the earth;
In that very day his ^(H)plans perish.
